Precise measurement of semiconductors
Smělík, Martin ; Šebesta, Jiří (referee) ; Dřínovský, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor´s thesis was design a laboratory workplace for precise measurement of the stability output parameters of semiconductors. The thermostat is also part of this workplace. The thermostat is maintaining a constant temperature measured semiconductor. The entire laboratory preparation is controlled by a computer via USB. The program is created in control environment Agilent VEE for automatic measurement that semiconductor components.
Room Temperature Controller
Hruškovský, Antonín ; Tříska, Vít (referee) ; Mičulka, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with a production of a room thermostat for regulation of temperature in a house or flat. The text describes several types of sensors for measuring temperature according to various physical principles. Afterwards, one of the types of sensors has been selected and used in a measuring unit. Subsequently, a hardware design of the thermostat has been described, including the creation of the PCB design on a computer, component selection and the thermostat production itself. This is followed by the description of algorithms implemented on the microcontroller MSP430 to ensure the proper functioning the thermostat. A software has been installed into the side of the computer used to communicate with the thermostat. The communication with the thermostat has been realized by means of an USB bus.
Alternative control SW for dedicated thermal performance chambers with customized UI
Žlebek, Jan ; Veselý, Libor (referee) ; Václavek, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis is oriented on simulating thermal chambers, their SW and HW and improving SW to meet specifications. Testing problematics connected with this thesis is briefly mentioned also. Thermal chambers used here are dedicated to run simulating test procedures for thermostats and similar devices designed to sense temperature and regulate it. Design and realisation of new SW are clarified in latter chapters of this thesis, as well as evaluating functionality and resulting dynamics and accuracy.
Solar pool heater
Jablončík, Lukáš ; Chladil, Ladislav (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
The master´s thesis deals with the design of the solar heating regulator of the swimming pool. The basis was to study the available solutions for the solar pool controllers, to define the requirements, to design the concept and the block diagram of the own thermostat. The thesis also provides a description of several for the Internet of Things. The most suitable is used to control the thermostat. The resulting thermostat regulates two power outputs for filtration and the pump, it can be set using the keyboard and graphic display. At the end of the work is practically verified functionality on the model and on the real pool with solar heating.
Single-purpose machine for mounting of thermostat
Hajda, Jan ; Nohál, Libor (referee) ; Brandejs, Jan (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to design a single-purpose machine for completion the thermostat into combustion engine of a vehicle. First of all, it is necessary to design a conceptual solution that is able to lay down the thermostat in the shortest possible time, will not conflict with construction restrictions, the installation dimensions, and last but not least, the machine will be ergonomic and user-friendly. The subsequently selected variant will be designed and based on the drawing documentation will be produced a single-purpose machine, which will operate in three-shift work.
Automatic control system of technology facility
Brabec, Luboš ; Šmirg, Ondřej (referee) ; Hubálek, Jaromír (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with problematics of technological procedures and techniques for modification of microelectrodes with nanostructures. Furthermore, it describes a device needed for automated production of nanosensors, their properties and communication with computer. These devices communicate through RS-232 and USB interfaces.
Thermostat for measuring passive component controlled of AVR
Demjanics, Ferenc ; Koňas, Petr (referee) ; Roubal, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of this work is to familiarize with the design of the thermal test chamber to measuring passive components. Show features and involvement of selected circuits that ensure reliable operation of the device. For the realization of the role are the most important the Peltier cells and temperature sensors. But they can not work without the control unit. The control unit provides the necessary communication with each component and also with user. For this purpose we made a selection of suitable type of microcontroller and communication equipment (matrix keypad, LCD, buttons and LEDs). Subsequently was designed the algorithm to control the thermostat suitable for using in students training. The algorithm was written in the microcontroller in form of a program. There is also implemented a PSD controller in the program, which evaluates the data collected by a sensor. Then set the correct function of Peltier cells. After the thermostat was designed and realized, test measurements were performed and the results were documented and evaluated.
Programmable Thermoregulator Design
Kollár, Tomáš ; Steinbauer, Miloslav (referee) ; Hermany, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of the study was to design, build and experimentally verify a programmable thermostat. The main control unit of the thermostat is an ATmega168 microcontroller which communicates via I2C bus with remote MAX6615 chips. They are used to measure temperature with a set of thermistors and control the flow of the hot water in the heating system. This work deals with issues of remote control through the I2C bus, servomotor steering, precision temperature measurement and describes the inner workings of the system. The next chapter includes a proposal for possible extension of the system. The last part contains the manual of the control menu structure and a brief description of the software.
Remotely controlled thermostat
Závodný, Vilém ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of my thesis is to understand the manufactured thermostats and design own thermostat to allow the most basic possibilities classical thermostats plus setup and management via web interface. It is a realization of a small web server that works closely with hardware peripherals. In addition, the web interface is still possible to manage a Web server of TFT LCD screen or applications for smart phone with Android. In addition, the thermostat allows the temperature reading from the BLE modules. All temperatures are continuously stored in a database and graphically processed.
Modern Methods of heating for family houses
Bartusek, Jiří ; Charvát, Pavel (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
This thesis is dealing with the modern methods of control in heating, focusing especially on hot water heating, which is still the most widely represented method today. The aim of this work is to describe the various methods of control, show specific characteristics and then a practical application in the profession, advantages disadvantages. The work includes a price comparison of the different regulatory elements. This work may also give a guidance to the ordinary user, to familiarize himself with the regulatory options and selecting the optimal alternatives due to the comfort of living and the cost of purchase and installation. The work also contains a specific concept, which deals with the selection of control devices for heating system. In this example efficiency and costs are being solved.
